Bald Eagles set for Saturday afternoon tip at Mansfield

LHU & Mansfield set for battle of US-15 North; two teams tip at 3 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 15)

The Lock Haven University men's basketball team is headed 65 miles north to take on local and PSAC East rival Mansfield.
 
The two teams tip tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 15) at 3 p.m.
 
The Bald Eagles are coming off an 87-84 overtime loss to West Chester on Wednesday night.

Three things you need to know:
 
1. ONE TO CLINCH
 
A win at Mansfield on Saturday would clinch a playoff berth for Lock Haven. The Bald Eagles haven't made the playoffs since the 2002-03 season.
 
2. HEAD TO HEAD
 
Mansfield's Joe Bell (21.7) and Lock Haven's Wali Hepburn (21.6) are in a battle for the PSAC scoring title as the two sit 1-2 in the league heading into tomorrow's game.
 
3. NEW TERRITORY
 
The Bald Eagles 14 wins are the most since The Haven went 14-12 in 1992-93. Lock Haven has also secured its first winning season in 21 years (1992-93). LHU is in search of a 15-win season. Lock Haven hasn't had a 15-win season since the Bald Eagles went 26-7 in 1989-90.
