Lock Haven opened the day with a 7-3 loss to Fairmont State and the Lady Eagles fell to No. 22 West Virginia Wesleyan 7-2.

Erica Pooler (Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte) and
Chelsea Edwards (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) went 2-for-3 at the plate with a run scored in the loss to Fairmont State.

Jessie Probst (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) struck out four in relief.

Michelle Holweger (Landsdale, Pa./North Penn) was 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs in the loss to West Virginia Wesleyan. Highlighting the day was her second home run of the season. Â

The Lady Eagles return to action on Tuesday, March 18 at Georgian Court (2:30/4:30 p.m.). LHU is scheduled to take on Goldey-Beacom on Thursday (March 20, 2/4 p.m.) before opening PSAC East play this weekend at West Chester and Millersville.
