Box Score 2 CLERMONT, Fla. – The Lock Haven University softball team (4-6) dropped its final two games of the 2014 Dot Richardson Spring Games, hosted by the National Training Center (NTC) in Clermont, Florida.

Lock Haven opened the day with a 4-3 loss to Saint Rose before an 8-5 loss to No. 20 Grand Valley State.

Lock Haven's three runs came off 10 hits in the loss to Saint Rose.

Jodi Weaknecht (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown) was 2-for-3 at the plate.
Â
Jessie Probst (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) struck out three and added a two-hit, one-RBI batting performance.

Trailing 3-0 early vs. nationally-ranked GVSU, Lock Haven plated five runs in the bottom of the second with two outs. Grand Valley came back however and plated four runs in the sixth and it added an insurance run in the top of the seventh.

Lock Haven's five runs came off eight hits.

Kassandra Atherton (Mount Union, Pa./Mount Union) was 2-for-4 in the loss.
