Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University softball team dropped both games of a PSAC East doubleheader today to visiting and rival Mansfield University.
 
Lock Haven (18-25, 11-15 PSAC East) dropped game one 3-0 and Mansfield (21-13, 13-11 PSAC East) completed the sweep with a 2-1 win in the nightcap.
 
Game 1 Recap:
 
Mansfield jumped on Lock Haven early in game one, plating a pair of runs in the top of the first.
 
The Haven's four game-one hits came from four different players.
 
Pitcher Rachel Mouillesseaux (Endicott, N.Y./Union Endicott) went the distance in the loss. She allowed just six hits and struck out three.
 
Game 2 Recap:
 
The third inning of game two featured all the game's scoring with Mansfield striking first in the top half, for two runs.
 
Lock Haven got one back in the bottom half as Morgan Palmer (Canton, Pa./Canton) scored on a wild pitch.
 
The Lady Eagles picked up five hits in game two, including a pair of Paige Stuppy (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon).
 
Pitcher Jessie Probst (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) allowed just five hits over seven innings. She struck out two and walked two.
 
Lock Haven closes out the 2014 regular season on the road tomorrow (Saturday, April 26) at Shippensburg University (1/3 p.m.).
