The Lock Haven University field hockey team is set to host Saint Louis on Saturday, September 20 at 11 a.m. in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both teams.

Setting the stage:
On Sunday (9/14), Lock Haven extended its win streak to five games, downing Siena 4-2. LHU is now 5-1 overall and winners of five straight after dropping the season-opener to Providence (2-1, 2OT).
 
Sunday's win over Siena helped LHU stay unbeaten at home at 3-0. Sunday's win over the Saints also helped Lock Haven improve to 8-0 all-time vs. Siena, and the Lady Eagles improved to 11-2 all-time vs. Colgate after Saturday's 6-2 win.
 
Saint Louis enters the game winless on the season at 0-6.

- Eight different players have registered a goal this season for Lock Haven's explosive attack, including sophomore Lydia George - last week's A-10 Player of the Week, who has a team-high six goals. She had a hat trick in Saturday's win over Colgate. Nakira Downes is second on the team in points with 11 (3G & 5A).
- Lock Haven is 4-0 all-time vs. the Billikens. Last season, Lock Haven beat Saint Louis, 7-0.
- Lydia George's 2.33 points per game are the 15^th most in NCAA Division I play. Goalie Elaina White is ranked 12^th in the NCAA in goals against average (1.01) and 18^th in save percentage (.778). As a team, LHU is ranked sixth in scoring margin and is tied for 11^th in shutouts per game. Last year, Lock Haven led all DI teams in shutouts per game.
