LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (2-7) lost 1-0 in overtime today in non-conference action to visiting Roberts Wesleyan College (4-5).
 
Samantha Moreno scored the game's only goal with 1:26 left in the first overtime, giving the visitors the victory.
 
The two teams battled to a 0-0 tie at halftime, despite both teams creating good scoring chances in the opening 45 minutes of play.
 
Haven goalkeeper Morgan Euston (Newton, N.J./Newton) was busy in the first half and turned away four RWC shots.
 
Again, despite several good scoring chances in the second half, neither team could crack the score sheet.
 
Erin McGrenaghan (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) looked to spark the offense with a pair shots that forced saves.
 
Euston finished with five saves.
 
The Lady Eagles return to the field on Saturday, October 4 at 1 p.m. on the road at Kutztown University.
