Volleyball moves to 2-0 with win over Lake Erie

LHU Tournament concludes tomorrow (Saturday) with six matches; Haven plays Bloomfield (9 a.m.) and Glenville State (7 p.m.)

Box Score LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University volleyball team (2-0) improved to 2-0 on the season with a 3-1 win over Lake Erie (0-2) tonight (Friday, September 5) at the LHU Tournament.
 
Lock Haven won 25-22, 25-14, 21-25 and 26-24.
 
With tonight's win, LHU head coach Dan Kreiger moves one step closer to career-win No. 100. He's now just four away.
 
Leading the way for the Lady Eagles tonight was Cody Anderson (Johnsonburg, Pa./Johnsonburg) and Kaleigh Hudak (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom), who combined for 31 kills. Anderson tallied 18 and Hudak knocked down 13.
 
Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) paced the offense with 42 assists, while also adding 13 digs on the defensive side.
 
Sydney Belcastro (Pittsburgh/Hopewell) recorded 16 digs and four aces in the win.
 
Lock Haven is right back in action tomorrow (September 6) when LHU hosts Bloomfield (9 a.m.) and Glenville State (7 p.m.) on the third and final day of the LHU Tournament.
