Box Score WASHINGTON – The Lock Haven University field hockey team picked up its third straight win today (Sunday, September 7) with a 2-1 victory at Georgetown.

With the win, Lock Haven improves to 6-0 all-time vs. the Hoyas.

For the second straight game, LHU dominated its opponent, as the Lady Eagles outshot Georgetown 19-3 in 70 minutes. Yesterday (Sat., Sept. 6), The Haven blanked Towson, 7-0 at home.

Elaina White (Etters, Pa./Red Land) was called upon to make just one save on the way to her third victory of the season.

Rachel Valentine (Souderton, Pa./Souderton) put LHU up 1-0 in the 19
th minute off an assist from
Nakira Downes (Bridgetown, Barbados/The Combermere School).

Lydia George (Carlisle, Pa./Big Spring) made it 2-0 in the 54
th minute.

The hosts got one back in the 62
nd minute, but it wasn't enough to help Georgetown get back into the match.

Lock Haven returns to action next Saturday, September 13 at noon when the Lady Eagles host Colgate in the first of two LHU home games next weekend. LHU also hosts Siena on Sunday (Sept. 14) at noon.
