Haven Hoops Weekly Preview: Bald Eagles travel to ESU for matchup with first-place Warriors

Bald Eagles currently tied for 4th in PSAC East

The Lock Haven University men's basketball team is scheduled to play just one time this week, when the Bald Eagles travel to East Stroudsburg tonight to face the first-place Warriors.
 
Last Time Out:
The Bald Eagles went, 1-1 last week, including a, 94-82 win over Bloomsburg on Saturday.
 
Wali Hepburn and Al Blount led The Haven in the win.  Hepburn had a huge all-around game and nearly became the first Bald Eagle ever to record a triple-double.
 
Hepburn finished with 31 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, four steals and two blocks.
 
Blount was on fire from downtown, as the senior guard drilled five three's and finished with a career-high 21 points.

Lock Haven travels to East Stroudsburg tonight for a matchup against the top team in the PSAC Eastern Division.
 
The Bald Eagles enter the week, 6-12 overall, 6-8 in the PSAC and are currently tied for fourth in the PSAC East with Millersville and Shippensburg.
LHU is, 2-8 on the road this season.
 
ESU enters the game, 13-5 overall, 11-3 in the PSAC and sit atop the PSAC East standings.  The Warriors are, 7-2 at home this season.
 
Last Time vs. East Stroudsburg:
Lock Haven fell to East Stroudsburg in the PSAC-opener earlier this season, 92-69.  Wali Hepburn led LHU with 29 points, six rebounds and four assists in the game. 
 
Bootsie Walker scored 15 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists of his own.
 
Nate Walters added 12 points for LHU.
 
Hepburn hanging on to PSAC scoring lead:
Senior guard Wali Hepburn continues to lead the PSAC in scoring.  His 19.7 points-per-game edge out Henri Wade-Chatman's (Edinboro) 19.6 points-per-game.  Hepburn won last season's scoring title.
 
Up next:
Lock Haven gets a little break this weekend, as The Haven has no games on its schedule until next Wednesday, February 4, when the Bald Eagles travel to West Chester.
