Women’s Soccer closes season at Cal

The LHU women’s soccer team closed the 2015 season today at California (Pa.) University with the Vulcans edging the Bald Eagles, 1-0.

CALIFORNIA, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (3-13-1, 3-12-1 PSAC) closed the 2015 season today with a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match at California (Pa.) University. The host-Vulcans (9-6-3, 8-5-3 PSAC) edged LHU, 1-0.

Cal's Janelle McCann scored the only goal of the match just 4:14 into the contest.

The Vulcans outshot Lock Haven, 13-11 over 90 minutes.

Joanna Swartz (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) led LHU with two shots and Morgan Euston (Newton, N.J./Newton) made one save.
