Jackson & Walker named to the 2015 Wolf's Bus Lines Classic All-Tournament TeamSHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (2-0) moved to 2-0 on the season with an 88-62 victory over Penn State Lehigh Valley (0-2) at Shippensburg University's Wolf's Bus Line Classic Tournament.
Three different Bald Eagles pushed their way into double-digit scoring, including
Shawn Church (Ridley, Pa./Ridley), who had 12 points.
Al Blount (Allentown, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) and
Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) each netted 10 points.
Craig Slade (Philadelphia/Constitution) grabbed seven rebounds and chipped in with nine points.
For the game, LHU shot 51 percent from the field and 81 percent from the charity stripe.
In all, 12 different players scored for Lock Haven.
Yesterday, LHU opened the season with thrilling 75-71 win over Nyack College.
Following the conclusion of the tournament, both
Brahieme Jackson (Philadelphia/Bishop McDevitt) and
Bootsie Walker (Chester, Pa./Chester) named to the 2015 Wolf's Bus Lines Classic All-Tournament Team for their strong play in leading the Bald Eagles to a pair of wins this weekend.
Lock Haven returns to action on Wednesday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. at West Chester to open Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action.
