SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Emily James (Mansfield, Pa./Mansfield) scored a team-high 10 points and Lysa Mealing (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) had another huge outing, but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University women's basketball team (1-4, 0-3 PSAC) fell on the road at Slippery Rock University (4-1, 2-1 PSAC) in a close Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)  battle.
 
Mealing continued her strong play and finished with eight points, 12 rebounds and three blocks.
 
J.J. Hilliard (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) had eight points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals.
 
Mackenzie Livingston (Blairsville, Pa./IUP) added seven points and nine rebounds.
 
Loren Kaiser (Bethlehem, Pa./Pace Univ.) chipped in with four points, three boards and three assists.
 
LHU will return to action next Saturday, November 28 at 4 p.m. when the Bald Eagles host Georgian Court in their 2015-16 home-opener.
