LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (17-11, 9-8 PSAC) picked up a huge win in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East match today at home against Pitt-Johnstown (24-4, 15-2 PSAC), 3-1 (20-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-23, & 15-12)

Lock Haven dropped the first two sets, but came back and won the next three to complete the come back and beat UPJ.

Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll) led LHU with 19 kills. In a 25-23 fourth set, Gomish had seven of her 19 kills and provided a huge spark for the Bald Eagle offense.

Freshman
Brittany Moyer (Orwigsburg, Pa./Blue Mountain) finished with 15 kills and senior
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) added 13 kills and three service aces.

Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) led the Bald Eagles with 39 assists and also added three service aces.
Sydney Belcastro (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) had 34 digs and one service ace.

Lock Haven will be back in action Friday, November 6 at 7 p.m. when it hosts East Stroudsburg.
