LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (9-3, 5-3 PSAC) picked up a 86-70 win over Millersville University (2-9, 2-6 PSAC) today at Thomas Fieldhouse.

The story of the game was the LHU bench, who combined to score 50 points in the game.

Leading the way was
Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) and
Julian Bond (Lafayette Hill, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) who each had career days.
Â
Hunt scored a career-high 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Bald Eagles.
Â
Bond was on fire from downtown, connecting on six three-pointers for 18 points, which tied a career-high.
Â
Shawn Church (Ridley, Pa./Ridley) chipped in with 13 points of his own off the bench and added four rebounds and three assists.
Â
Bootsie Walker (Chester, Pa./Chester) was the only Haven starter in double-figures with 13 points.

Lock Haven held Millersville to just 28.6% shooting from the field in the first half and The Haven led 40-29 at the break.

The Bald Eagles continued their strong defensive play in the second half, holding Millersville to just 37.3% for the game.

Lock Haven hit 11 threes in the game, the most since December 18, 2011 when LHU hit 11 against Urbana.

The Bald Eagles will break until the New Year and return to the court on Sunday, January 3 vs. Edinboro at home (4 p.m.).
