The Lock Haven University men's basketball team is set to play twice this week at PSECU Court at Thomas Fieldhouse. The Bald Eagles host Kutztown on Wednesday and Millersville on Saturday.
Last Time Out:The Bald Eagles fell in both of their games last week. LHU was edged by West Chester last Wednesday, 76-75.
Wali Hepburn had a historic night in the loss, recording the first triple-double in LHU men's basketball history. Hepburn scored 22 points, dished out 11 assists and grabbed 10 rebounds in the game.
The Haven fell at home on Saturday to Mansfield, 84-79 in overtime. Hepburn and
Bootsie Walker each had big games for the Bald Eagles. Hepburn scored a game-high 28 points and added six rebounds and six assists.
Walker scored a career-high 22 points and added 10 rebounds.
Gameday Central: Lock Haven vs. Kutzown: Lock Haven hosts Kutztown on Wednesday in a key PSAC East matchup.
LHU defeated Kutztown earlier this year, 100-98 in an overtime thriller. Hepburn hit the game-winning shot with just two seconds remaining in overtime to secure the win.
The Bald Eagles are, 6-15 overall this year, 6-11 in the PSAC and are, 4-4 at Thomas Fieldhouse this year.
Kutztown is, 15-9 overall 12-6 in the PSAC and the Golden Bears are, 7-4 on the road this year.
KU clinched a PSAC Tournament berth last week and currently sits in second place in the division.
Lock Haven vs. Millersville: Lock Haven hosts Millersville on Saturday in a special Valentines edition of PSAC East action.
The Bald Eagles fell on the road to the Marauders earlier this year, 74-53.
MU enters the week, 12-12 in the overall, 8-10 in the PSAC and the Marauders are, 3-7 on the road this year.
