Haven Hoops Weekly Preview: Bald Eagles to face Cheyney on the road in conference action

Bald Eagles travel to Cheyney University Wednesday (Feb. 18) to continue playoff push

The Lock Haven University men's basketball team is set to play in a huge conference game Wednesday, February 18 when the Bald Eagles play the Wolves of Cheyney on the road.  Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
 
Lock Haven is 8-15 overall and 8-11 in conference action. 
 
The Bald Eagles now sit in a tie with Shippensburg for fifth place in the crowded PSAC East playoff picture.  The Haven is just a half-game behind Millersville for fourth, but is also just a half-game ahead of Mansfield who sits in seventh.
 
Last Time Out:
The Bald Eagles dropped Millersville at Thomas Fieldhouse on the PSECU Court Saturday (February 14), 78-71.
 
Wali Hepburn has another huge night for Lock Haven.  Hepburn scored a game-high 25 points, pulled down eight rebounds, and dished out five assists in the win.

Lock Haven travels to Cheyney on Wednesday for the second meeting between the schools this season.
 
LHU defeated Cheyney, 88-70 on January 17 this year.

Senior Nate Walters scored 18 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the Bald Eagles in the win.
 
Walters' 18 points were a new career-high for the senior and the double-double was his first of the season. 
 
The Wolves are currently 1-18 overall and 2-22 in conference action.
 
Cheyney is coming off a, 91-73 loss against East Stroudsburg on the road.
 
Kevin Larkin leads the Wolves, averaging 18 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
 
Up next:
The Bald Eagles will host Shippensburg Saturday (February 21) on the PSECU Court at Thomas Fieldhouse.  Lock Haven will honor it's graduating seniors prior to tip-off (4 p.m.).
