Haven Hoops Weekly Preview: Lady Eagles set for pair of PSAC East battles

Lady Eagles travel to West Chester tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb. 4) night, host Mansfield on Saturday

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Lock Haven University women's basketball team is set for a pair of important Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East games this week.
 
The Lady Eagles open the week tomorrow (Wednesday, February 4) at 5:30 p.m. on the road at West Chester.
 
Lock Haven returns home to host local-rival Mansfield on Saturday (Feb. 7) at 2 p.m.
 
LHU only played once last week as Saturday marked The Haven's bye-date. Last week, LHU beat East Stroudsburg, 64-61 in OT. Lock Haven is 7-12 overall and 6-9 in PSAC East action. The Lady Eagles enter tomorrow's game sitting in seventh place in the PSAC East standings.

Lane & Moyer pave the way:
Sami Lanes leads LHU with 11.4 points per game, while Marrysa Moyer chips in with 10 points per game. Moyer also adds 9.9 rebounds per game, the fourth-most in the PSAC.
 
Lady Eagles on TV:
Saturday's (Feb. 7) home game with Mansfield (2 p.m.) will be broadcast live by on the My TV – WQMY station. A rebroadcast is set for Sunday at 12 p.m. on WQMY-TV
 
My TV – WQMY serves 17 counties in Central and Northeast, Pennsylvania. The game will be aired live for more than 1.5 million viewers in Clinton, Lycoming, Union, Snyder, Sullivan, Montour, Northumberland, Columbia, Bradford, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Luzerne, Schuylkill, Lackawanna, Carbon, Wayne and Monroe counties. The game will also air on tape-delay on February 12 at 9 p.m. on The Comcast Newtork (TCN). The tape-delay broadcast will air in three states, six markets and reach nearly 2.4 million cable subscribers.

Looking ahead:
Saturday's game with Mansfield is the first of three straight home games for Lock Haven. Next Wednesday (Feb. 11) LHU hosts Kutztown (5:30 p.m.) and LHU hosts Millersville on Saturday (Feb. 14) at 2 p.m.
