The LHU field hockey team picked up an important A-10 victory at La Salle thanks to Alyscia Smith’s goal in the 48th minute.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Freshman Alyscia Smith (Newport, Pa./Newport) scored the game's only goal in the 48th minute and the Lock Haven University field hockey team (8-2, 1-2 A-10) topped host La Salle (2-6, 0-2 A-10), 1-0 today in Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) action.

The win moved the Bald Eagles to 8-2 on the season and marked their first A-10 win of the year.

After a scoreless first half, Smith scored her third goal of the season in the 48th minute and it proved to be the game's only scoring in the defensive battle.
