The LHU field hockey team is set for a pair of road games this weekend.
Lock Haven kicks off the weekend with a game today (Friday, September 4) at Cornell at 5 p.m., before heading to Towson on Sunday (September 6) for a noon start.
The Bald Eagles are 2-0 after opening the season last weekend at home with wins over William & Mary (W, 3-0) and Ohio (W, 2-1).
Lock Haven and Cornell didn't meet last season, but the Bald Eagles won their last meeting with the Big Red in 2013, 3-2. LHU is 4-3 all-time vs. Cornell. Tonight's game is the first of the yea for the Big Red.
Last year, LHU beat Towson, 7-0 in Lock Haven. The Haven is 4-1 all-time vs. Towson. The Tigers are 0-2 on the season after dropping games to Saint Joseph's and Temple last weekend.

Stephanie Whiteman was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week on Monday. She has four points and four defensive saves through two games.

Rachel Valentine scored a goal in each game last week and leads LHU with five points.
3. LHU was picked to finished third in the 2015 A-10 Preseason Coaches' Poll. Lock Haven is coming off back-to-back A-10 Tournament appearances.
Up next:Following Sunday's game at Towson, LHU hits the road for two more games. Lock Haven plays at Colgate on Saturday, September 12 (1 p.m.) and wraps up its four-game road swing at Siena on Sunday, September 13 (12 p.m.). Lock Haven returns home on Friday, September 18 to open conference play with Richmond (3 p.m.).
