Box Score 2 ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team opened the 2015 season today with a pair of matches at the Grand Valley State University Laker Classic Tournament.
Lock Haven went 1-1. The Bald Eagles opened the day with a 3-0 (25-19, 26-24 & 25-21) victory over Daemen, before falling to Ohio Dominican 3-0 (25-21, 25-21 & 25-17)

Box Score Leading the way in the win was
Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll), who had 10 kills and 12 digs.
Megan Flick (Howard, Pa./Bald Eagle) and
Brittany Moyer (Orwigsburg, Pa./Blue Mountain) each had seven kills in the victory.
Jessica Brown (Fawn Grove, Pa./Kennard-Dale) dished out 30 assists, while
Sydney Belcastro (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) added 12 digs.
LHU recorded 12 aces in the win.

Box Score Despite the loss, Flick turned in another solid outing and finished with 12 digs. Gomish added nine.
Brown was strong again for LHU and recorded 30 assists for the second straight match.
Moyer led Lock Haven with 14 digs.
LHU hits the court again tomorrow for a pair of matches at the tournament. Lock Haven takes on Carson-Newman (12 p.m.) and host Grand Valley State (4 p.m.).
