LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bobby Rehm (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) picked up his 99
th career win and was one of four Bald Eagles to win tonight, but the Lock Haven University wrestling team (6-7) fell to local-rival Bucknell (5-4), 24-13.
Rehm moved one step closer to joining LHU's 100-win club, as he picked up a dominating 13-2 major decision over Grimaldi Gonzalez.
Dan Neff (Quarryville, Pa./Solanco),
Aaron McKinney (McDonald, Pa./West Allegheny) and
Phil Sprenkle (Seven Valleys, Pa./Dallastown) also won for Lock Haven.
Neff kept his winning streak going with a hard-fought 8-6 win over Victor Lopez. Neff is now 11-0 since returning to 149 pounds on December 17.
Bucknell led 4-0 after picking up a major decision at 125, but Rehm's dominating victory at 133 quickly tied the dual at 4-4.
The Bald Eagles took a 10-8 lead after Neff (149) and McKinney (157) picked up back-to-back wins.
Following McKinney's win, the Bison rattled off three straight victories on the way to the win.
