The Lock Haven University wrestling team is set for a pair of weekend Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) matches.
LHU heads to Clarion University tomorrow (Friday, January 29) for a 7 p.m. match and the Bald Eagles host Cleveland State University on Sunday (January 30) at 1 p.m.

Phil Sprenkle (197) picked up wins, but Lock Haven fell at Bucknell, 24-13. Last Friday's match at George Mason was postponed because of the snow storms that blanketed much of the Mid-Atlantic region.
The Bald Eagles enter the weekend at 6-7 overall and are 1-1 in EWL action.
Clarion is 6-10 overall and 2-3 in EWL action while Cleveland State is 6-5 (2-2 EWL).
Last season Lock Haven beat Clarion 34-6, but was edged by Cleveland State, 18-16.
The Bald Eagles are 29-22-2 all-time vs. Clarion and lead the all-time series 26-11 vs. Cleveland State.

NCAA releases wrestling coaches' panel rankings:Last week (Thursday, Jan. 21), the NCAA released the first of four NCAA wrestling coaches' panel rankings for the 2015-16 season. The final rankings will be used as part of the selection process for NCAA Championships qualifiers.
