The Lock Haven University wrestling team is set for a pair of weekend Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) matches.
 
LHU heads to Clarion University tomorrow (Friday, January 29) for a 7 p.m. match and the Bald Eagles host Cleveland State University on Sunday (January 30) at 1 p.m.
 
Last Thursday (January 21), Bobby Rehm (133), Dan Neff (149), Aaron McKinney (157) and Phil Sprenkle (197) picked up wins, but Lock Haven fell at Bucknell, 24-13. Last Friday's match at George Mason was postponed because of the snow storms that blanketed much of the Mid-Atlantic region.
 
The Bald Eagles enter the weekend at 6-7 overall and are 1-1 in EWL action.
 
Clarion is 6-10 overall and 2-3 in EWL action while Cleveland State is 6-5 (2-2 EWL).
 
Last season Lock Haven beat Clarion 34-6, but was edged by Cleveland State, 18-16.
 
The Bald Eagles are 29-22-2 all-time vs. Clarion and lead the all-time series 26-11 vs. Cleveland State.

A makeup date and time for last week's EWL match at George Mason has been announced. LHU will now travel south for the conference dual on Thursday, February 18 at 5:30 p.m.
 
NCAA releases wrestling coaches' panel rankings:
Last week (Thursday, Jan. 21), the NCAA released the first of four NCAA wrestling coaches' panel rankings for the 2015-16 season. The final rankings will be used as part of the selection process for NCAA Championships qualifiers. Dan Neff was ranked No. 22 at 149 in last week's initial listing.
 
The magic number is 100:
Despite the loss to Rider on Saturday (Jan. 16), returning All-American Dan Neff made history, becoming just the 17th member of LHU's 100-win club. Now, teammate and fellow Lancaster Country, Pennsylvania native Bobby Rehm is knocking on the door with 99 career wins. Aaron McKinney sits on 92 career wins as he inches closer toward the 100-win club as well.

Last week (Thursday, Jan. 21), Lock Haven fell to local-rival Bucknell, 24-13. Highlighting the night for LHU was 133-pounder Bobby Rehm, who picked up his 99^th career win. Dan Neff rattled off his 11^th straight victory, and both Aaron McKinney and Phil Sprenkle won.
