JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (2-13, 1-6 PSAC Central) opened Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Central Division action tonight at Pitt-Johnstown (13-5, 6-1 PSAC Central) with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-9 & 25-14) loss.

Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg, Pa./Bishop Carroll) led Lock Haven with a nine-kill effort.

Olivia Sass (Roanoke, Va./Cave Spring) dished out 13 assists in an effort to spark the attack.

Sydney Belcastro (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) and
Annie Dombrowski (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) paced the defensive effort with 16 and 12 digs, respectively.

UPJ hit .282 for the match and the hosts were strong in the second set, finishing with 15 kills and a .500 team hitting percentage.
