The Lock Haven University football team (0-5, 0-2 PSAC East) is headed to Cheyney University (1-4, 0-2 PSAC East) for a Week 6 (Saturday, October 8) Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East showdown. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at O'Shields-Stevenson Stadium.
The Bald Eagles are coming off a loss to Shippensburg, while Cheyney is coming off a loss to East Stroudsburg.
Despite the Week 5 home-loss to Shippensburg where LHU led at halftime, there were plenty of bright spots for head coach
Dave Taynor's offense. Record-setting QB
Caleb Walton threw for a career-high 457 yards and two TDs. The 457 yards are the fourth-most in a single-game for a LHU QB. Walton's two touchdown passes moved his career passing-TD total to 56, just five away from breaking the school's all-time mark.
Shawn Seif, the top wide receiver in Division II had another big game. He racked up 178 yards on nine catches including one that went for a 73-yard TD. Seif has at least one touchdown-reception in all five games this season and he now has five TD-catches of 25-yards or more on the season.
