LHU is set to host the 2016-17 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Wrestling Championships on Saturday, December 10.
Action in Thomas Fieldhouse will get underway at 10 a.m. and the finals are set for 6:30 p.m.
The tournament field is made up of 12 teams including NCAA Division I Bloomsburg, Clarion, Edinboro and host-Lock Haven. Eight Division II teams, including Pitt-Johnstown, Mercyhurst, Gannon, Kutztown, Seton Hill, Millersville, East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg round out the field.
Perennial-power Edinboro has won five straight championships. The Fighting Scots feature four nationally-ranked grapplers. Clarion won the title back in 2010 before Edinboro began its latest run of dominance.
Of the Division II squads, the PSAC is home to four of the nation's top-25 teams, including No. 3 Pitt-Johnstown, No. 4 Mercyhurst, No. 11 Seton Hill and No. 24 Shippensburg.
