LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (12-13, 8-13 PSAC) rallied midway through the second half, but it wasn't enough as Shippensburg University (PSAC) grinded out an 83-69 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East victory.
Brahieme Jackson (Philadelphia/Bishop McDevitt) had another solid night for Lock Haven as he was one three players who netted double-figures. He finished 12 points to go along with six rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal.
Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Pa./Riverdale Baptist) dropped 16 points and
Shawn Church (Ridley, Pa./Ridley) added 10.
Dave Garcia (Scotrun, Pa./Pocono Mt. East) knocked down a pair of 3's and finished with nine points on the night.
The Bald Eagle scored 21 points off turnovers and got 23 points from the bench.
Shippensburg was led by Dustin Sleva, who had a game-high 20 points.
The Bald Eagles will close out the 2015-16 regular season on Saturday, February 20 at East Stroudsburg University (3 p.m.)
