KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Dave Garcia (Scotrun, Pa./Pocono Mt. East) knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with a team-high 11 points, but it wasn't enough as the Lock Haven University men's basketball team fell on the road at Kutztown University, 90-71 tonight in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action.
Garcia also had four assists.
Lock Haven (10-11, 6-11 PSAC) got 10 points, five rebounds and three assists from
Shawn Church (Ridley, Pa./Ridley).
Both
Julian Bond (Lafayette Hill, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) and
Brahieme Jackson (Philadelphia/Bishop McDevitt) scored nine points apiece.
Ra'eese Hunt (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) chipped in with eight points.
Lock Haven's bench accounted for 47 of its 71 points on the night.
With tonight's win, Kutztown improved to 16-4 overall and 13-3 in PSAC play.
LHU will hit the court again on Saturday, February 6 at 3 p.m. at Millersville.
