CLERMONT, Fla. – The Lock Haven University softball team (6-4) extended its win streak to three games with a pair of wins today in Florida.
LHU beat Lake Erie, 2-1 and dropped St. Cloud State 7-6 in extra innings (8 inn.).
Bekah Slattery (Douglasville, Pa./Daniel Boone) struck out five on the way to the win over Lake Erie.
Michelle Holweger (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) went 2 for 4 at the plate.
In the win over St. Cloud State, Slattery scored on a wild pitch to give the Bald Eagles the win.
Lock Haven opened the day with a 2-1 win over Lake Erie.
Lock Haven is set for two more games tomorrow (Sunday, March 6). LHU takes on Ashland at 9 a.m. and Southwest Minnesota State at 1 p.m.
