INDIANA, Pa. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (14-15) earned a road split today at IUP (14-17) in non-conference action.
IUP won game one, 16-9, but the Bald Eagles responded with a win in game two, 3-2.
Despite the game-one loss, several LHU players stood strong at the plate.
Sam Kysor (Port Allegany, Pa./USC Upstate) was 2 for 3 with two RBIs and a run scored, while
Nick Stotler (Pittsburgh/Coker College) went 2 for 4 with two RBIs.
Evan McFarland (Cottonwood, Ariz./Gateway Community College) was 2 for 4 with two RBIs.
In game two, Lock Haven scored three runs on seven hits.

Tom Cockill (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Mercer Community College) picked up the win after scattering five hits and striking out three over 4 2/3 innings.
Matt Lahn (Georgetown, ONT./Erie Community College) went 2 for 4, and both Stotler and
Hunter Szaflarski (Greencastle, Pa./Hagerstown Community College) drove in runs.
Lock Haven will host No. 3 Millersville University on Friday, April 8 at 1/3 p.m. as the two teams open a four-game Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division series.
