ERIE, Pa. - The No. 15 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (14-5) fell to No. 8 Mercyhurst University (16-2) 16-6 today in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Semifinals.
Mercyhurst, the PSAC's top-seed led 7-2 at halftime.
LHU, the tournament's No. 4 seed was making its 13
th straight PSAC Semifinal appearance.
Rachel Engler (Perkiomenville, Pa./Rutgers) and
Alex O'Herrick (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) both scored twice for the Bald Eagles.
O'Herrick kept Lock Have in the game with another huge effort on the draw. She finished with eight draw controls.

Hannah Houde (Jackson, N.J./Slippery Rock Univ.) finished with eight saves.
Kelly Close (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) led The Haven's defensive effort.
