LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University field hockey team will look to get back on track this weekend in Virginia as the Bald Eagles take on VCU and Richmond in a pair of important Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) matchups.
The weekend gets underway on Friday, September 23 at VCU (4 p.m.) and LHU takes on Richmond Sunday, September 25 at 12 p.m.
The Bald Eagles enter the weekend at 3-3 (0-1 A-10) and are looking to get back in the win column after their strong 3-0 start to the season. LHU opened A-10 play Friday (Sept. 16) with a 1-0 home-loss to La Salle.
Leading the way offensively for Lock Haven is
Dana-Lee De Gannes, who has a team-best four goals.

Three things you need to know:
- LHU is outscoring opponents 20-10 through six contests. A total of 13 LHU players have scored at least one goal this season, including four freshmen.
- LHU is averaging 3.33 goals/game, which ranks No. 19 out of 79 NCAA Division I teams. The 3.33 goals/game rank second in the A-10.
- LHU's two shutouts are second-best in the A-10 and the team's three defensive saves ranked second as well.
