INDIANA, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team fell to host IUP 3-0 on the road today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
IUP (5-2, 4-2 PSAC) got goals from three different players and used a 2-0 halftime lead to push past the Bald Eagles.
Bree Hilty (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) made six saves for Lock Haven (2-4, 1-4 PSAC).
Sarah Bonelli (Apollo, Pa./Apollo-Ridge),
Marah Foltz (Mountville, Pa./Hempfield) and
Janelle Swartz (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) each had three shots, combining for nine of Lock Haven's 10 shots in the match as they did all they could to spark the attack.
Kathy Brown's LHU squad is set to host No. 19 Edinboro University on Saturday, September 24 at 1 p.m.
