The Lock Haven University volleyball team (0-4) dropped a heartbreaker to Stonehill College (1-3) 3-2 (23-25, 25-23, 25-27, 28-26, 16-14) today at Thomas Fieldhouse.
 
The match marked the final competition of a three-day tournament. 

The Bald Eagles were led offensively by Sarah Gomish (Ebensburg Pa./Bishop Carroll), Gabrielle Stick (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township), and Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth). They finished with 18, 12, and 10 kills, respectively.
 
Olivia Sass (Roanoke Va./Cave Spring) finished the game with 39 assists.
 
Senior Sydney Belcastro (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) added 41 more digs to her new school record which she set on Thursday.
 
Taylor Stevens of Stonehill finished the marathon game with 60 assists.
 
The Bald Eagles are back in action Friday, September 9 against Saginaw Valley State at the University of Indianapolis Invitational.
