Wednesday (Jan. 25) night, the LHU men's and women's basketball teams return home to host local-rival Bloomsburg University in a PSAC East doubleheader.
The women's game is set for a 5:30 p.m. start and the men's game tips at approximately 7:30 p.m. in Thomas Fieldhouse.

LHU to celebrate PSAC Sportsmanship Week:
This week, LHU is proud to join its fellow PSAC institutions and celebrate 2016-17 PSAC Winter Sportsmanship Week (Jan. 23 – Jan. 29). The PSAC Sportsmanship Week is a campaign to emphasize and promote sportsmanship as it relates to the league's schools, coaches, student-athletes and fans. Through releases, social media and the web, the conference and its member institutions showcase their continuous commitment to sportsmanship.

LHU Season/Career Highs
The LHU women's basketball team went 1-1 last week, picking up a PSAC East win at Mansfield midweek, before falling to West Chester over the weekend … LHU is now 7-10 overall and 4-9 in PSAC East play … Leading the way for Lock Haven is
Lysa Mealing who is averaging 9.5 points per game and a league-best 12.6 rebounds per game … Mealing's 12.6 rebounds per game are nearly three rebounds per game higher than any other player in the entire PSAC and she ranks No. 1 among all NCAA Division II basketball players (Mealing led DII in rebounds per game all of last season) …
Madison McHale has provided a solid scoring touch and leads LHU with 11.7 points per game … Lock Haven now returns home for a pair of PSAC East games vs. Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg.
