Setting the stage:
The Lock Haven University football team is set to host Kutztown University on Saturday, October 21 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action. Kickoff at Hubert Jack Stadium is set for 1 p.m.
LHU enters the game at 1-6 overall and the Bald Eagles are 1-3 in PSAC East action. Last week, Lock Haven fell at Millersville, 34-21.
Despite it being Week 8, Saturday's game will be just the third home game of the season for Lock Haven. LHU is 1-1 at home.
Kutztown is 5-2 overall and the Golden Bears are 3-1 in PSAC East action. Kutztown has won two straight games, including last week's 41-9 win over East Stroudsburg. KU enters the game tied atop the PSAC East standings.

Haven hits:
- Lock Haven has 11 rushing touchdowns on the season including nine in the last two weeks.
- The LHU defensive unit has 10 interceptions, which is tied for the third-most in the PSAC.
- DB Isaiah Flamer ranks No. 2 in the PSAC with 41 solo tackles. He's ranked sixth in the PSAC in total tackles with 64.
- DB Carlos Balkcom has four INTs, which is tied for the third-most in the PSAC.
- In the Week 6 (Sat., Oct. 7) win over Cheyney, LHU rushed for a school-record 460 yards.
- Following the Week 6 win over Cheyney, true-freshman QB Kyle Knight was named the PSAC East Offensive Player of the Week.
- LHU head coach Dave Taynor (Urbana, '99) is in his third season as head coach at LHU (3rd season (7-22 at LHU), 10th overall (44-62).
