Setting the stage:
The LHU football team is set to host Cheyney University on Saturday, Oct. 7. The Week 6 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division game is set for a 12 p.m. kickoff.
The Bald Eagles are looking for their first win of the season and sit at 0-5 overall (0-2 PSAC East). Lock Haven is coming off a 37-6 road-loss at Shippensburg.
Nick Boumerhi's two field goals provided the scoring for LHU. On the season, Boumerhi is 4 for 9.
Cheyney is 1-4 overall and 0-2 in PSAC East action. The Wolves won their Week 1 outing vs. Lincoln 56-28.
Lock Haven has won five straight over Cheyney and will look to make it six in a row, and get the offense rolling on Saturday at Hubert Jack Stadium.

- Saturday marks just the second home game of the 2017 season for Lock Haven.

- DB Isaiah Flamer ranks No. 2 in the PSAC in total tackles (53) and tackles per game (10.6). He's No. 1 in solo tackles with 35. Flamer ranks 20th in the NCAA (DII) in total tackles and No. 8 in solo tackles.
- LHU head coach Dave Taynor (Urbana, '99) is in his third season as head coach at LHU (3rd season (6-21 at LHU), 10th overall (43-61).
