Men’s Basketball hosts Bloomsburg Saturday (Dec. 30)

The LHU men’s basketball team will return to the court tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 30) as the Bald Eagles host Bloomsburg in their 2017-18 PSAC Eastern Division opener.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men's basketball team will return to the court tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 30) and host local-rival Bloomsburg University (5-4, 1-4 PSAC) in the 2017-18 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division opener for both teams.
Both Lock Haven (3-6, 1-4 PSAC) and Bloomsburg are 1-4 in the PSAC following the early-season slate of conference games vs. Western Division opponents. Saturday will mark LHU's first game in 12 days and the Bald Eagles are coming off a 107-73 win over Penn State Mont Alto on December 18.
Tip is set for 4 p.m. in LHU's Thomas Fieldhouse. Live stats, audio and video will be available at www.GoLHU.com.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
For Lock Haven, sophomore-sensation Amir Hinton does it all. He leads LHU with 22.4 points per game, which ranks second in the PSAC this season. Hinton is also averaging 5.4 rebounds per game and three assists per contest. To round out his solid all-around play, he averages 3.6 steals per game which ranks No. 1 in the PSAC and has Hinton ranked No. 3 among all NCAA Division II players.

Following Saturday's game with Bloomsburg, Lock Haven will head to Mansfield University for a PSAC East contest on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
