Box Score 2 SALEM, Va. – The Lock Haven University softball team (5-8) split a pair games today at the Salem Invitational as the Bald Eagles third game of the day was halted and will resume tomorrow (Saturday, March 11) at 11:30 a.m.
LHU opened the day with an 11-5 win over Ursuline, but the Bald Eagles fell to Shepherd 11-9. The split moved Lock Haven to 5-8 on the season.
Game 1: FINAL, Lock Haven 11 - Ursuline 5
Jodi Weaknecht and
Moriah Lindsey sparked the Bald Eagle surge at the plate as each homered. Lindsey's home run was a three-run shot that broke open a 4-4 tie.

After the Bald Eagles finish their game with West Virginia Wesleyan they will close their weekend in Salem, Virginia tomorrow (Saturday, March 11) with games vs. Glenville State (12 p.m.) and Tiffin (2 p.m.).
