WILSON, NC. – The Lock Haven University baseball team (9-2) soared over Clarion University (3-5) by a score of 12-2 in a scheduled nine inning game. The Bald Eagles had 16 hits led by
Kolby DeHaas (Coeur D'Alene, Idaho/Wenatchee Valley Community College) who launched two home runs.

True freshman
Avery Eddy (Hughesville, Pa./Hugesville) was on the mound and was in full control the whole game as he pitched seven innings allowing only six hits and striking out five batters.

Seven different Bald Eagles had at least one RBI in the game. DeHaas went 2-4 with three RBI's and a walk.

Keyshawn D'Orso (Pittsburgh/Mercyhurst North East Community College) and
Cayden Stover (Beech Creek, Pa./Chesapeake College) also stepped up at the plate as they each had two hits and two RBI's apiece.

Matt Lahn (Georgetown, Ont./Erie Community College) and
Nick Stotler (Pittsburgh/Coker College) both had two hits and an RBI.

Hunter Szaflarski (Greencastle, Pa./Hagerstown Community College) and
Jamie Eshleman (Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land) each plated a run for The Haven as well.

Sam Kysor (Port Allegany, Pa./USC Upstate) went a perfect three for three from the plate and also added a walk.

The Haven bats have been alive as they have scored double digit runs in five of the past seven games. Through 11 games LHU has scored 108 runs.

Lock Haven appeared for the first time this season in the Atlantic Regional poll yesterday as they were No. 8.
