INIANA, Pa. – The No. 16 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (6-5, 3-3 PSAC) fell on the road against Indiana University of Pennsylvania (5-4, 4-2 PSAC), 9-4 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
LHU trailed 3-1 at the end of the first half, but the Crimson hawk offense turned it on in the second half scoring six goals to Lock Haven's three.
Hayley Kilian (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) had another strong offensive performance for LHU finishing with two goals.
Rachel Engler (Perkiomenville, Pa./Rutgers) and
Alex O'Herrick (Barto, Pa/Boyertown) each tacked on one goal for LHU.
O'Herrick played a tremendous two-way-game adding four caused turnovers and picked up six groundballs along with her goal.
Madison Eberly (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) and
Emily Gerhart (Barto, Pa./Boyertown) each finished with two caused turnovers.
Hannah Houde (Jackson, N.J./Slippery Rock) stopped 11 of the 20 Crimson Hawk shots.
Lock Haven will host PSAC rival and 11th ranked West Chester on Wednesday (April 12) at 4 p.m.
