SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. –The Lock Haven University men's soccer team (4-2-3, 2-1-1 PSAC) fell on the road to Shippensburg University (3-3-2, 1-1-0 PSAC) 5-1, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.
The Bald Eagles kept the Raiders defense busy all game as they fired six shots on net from six different student-athletes and 16 total shots throughout the game.
LHU's lone goal came from
Ben Wilson (Boswell, Pa./Conemaugh Township) in the 82
nd minute when he converted his free kick from just outside the 18 yard box.
Shippensburg converted both of their penalty kicks after LHU was called for a hand ball twice inside their box.
Goalkeepers
Troy Teresak (Pompton Plains, N.J./DePaul Catholic) and
Camden Cook (Rosedale, Md./High Point) both saw time for Lock Haven. Teresak got the start and made four saves in just over 67 minutes, while Cook made one save in just over 22 minutes.
The Haven will return to the Stern Athletic Complex to host Millersville University on Wednesday, September 27 at 4 p.m. in PSAC action.
