Haven hits:

• Alyscia Smith leads LHU with seven goals (3A, 17 PTS).
• Smith's seven goals rank 2^nd in the A-10 & her 17 points are 3^rd in the A-10.
• GK Paige Stuppy has logged every minute in goal for The Haven this season.
• Stuppy ranks 2^nd in the A-10 in saves with 47. Her 1.141 GAA & .758 save % both rank 5^th in the A-10.
• Lock Haven has played four OT games this season, going 3-1 overall.

Setting the stage:
The LHU field hockey team will host Davidson on Friday, Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. in Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) action before heading to regional-rival Cornell on Sunday, Oct. 1 for a non-conference game.
 
The Bald Eagles will enter the weekend on a very rare three-game losing skid. All three losses have come in A-10 play so Friday's home game with Davidson is a huge game and despite the date, a game that holds major postseason implications. Davidson is 0-8 and Lock Haven won last year's meeting, 2-1. The Bald Eagles are 4-0 all-time vs. Davidson.
 
On Sunday, LHU heads north to take on Cornell in non-conference action. Lock Haven will look to avenge a 4-0 loss last season. LHU is 5-4 all-time vs. Cornell. On the season, the Bald Eagles are 5-1 in non-conference action. The Big Red is 5-2 overall and hosts Columbia Friday.
 
Rudy headed to the Hall of Fame:
On Wednesday, September 20, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its 2017 Hall of Fame Class and LHU head coach Pat Rudy was part of the class. Former Bryn Mawr head coach Jenepher Shillingford and former Walpole (Mass.) head coach Penny Calf join Rudy as 2017 honorees. Rudy entered the 2017 season with 583 career wins.

Following Sunday's game at Cornell, Lock Haven will return to action on Friday, Oct. 6 at Saint Louis. The A-10 contest is set for a 7 p.m. EST start.
