WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (5-18, 4-15 PSAC) fell to top ranked Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East West Chester University (20-4, 17-3) on the road, 82-63.
Leading the way for The Haven was freshman
Bink Redman (York, Pa./William Penn) who recorded her third straight double-double. She netted 14 points while bringing down 11 rebounds, six of which were on the offensive glass. Redman also led the team in assists as she dished out four total.
Fellow freshman
Ahnera Parker (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) and senior
Kayla Henderson (Philadelphia/Lackawanna College) also played well-rounded games. Parker finished the night with 18 points and six rebounds while Henderson scored 13 points and secured four rebounds.
For Parker this marks her fourth time scoring 18 points this year, which is her season high. The last time she hit this mark was a home game against Cheyney on January 20.
This Saturday (Feb. 17), Lock Haven will remain on the road as they travel to take on Millersville at 1:00 p.m.
