LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's basketball team (5-21, 4-18 PSAC East) closed the 2017-18 season with an 84-64 loss at home to Kutztown University (17-11, 12-10 PSAC East) today in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action.
Today the Bald Eagles honored their two seniors in
Annie Dombrowski (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) and
Kayla Henderson (Philadelphia/Lackawanna College) prior to tip. It also marked the final game in the crimson and white uniform for graduate student
Mackenzie Livingston (Blairsville, Pa./IUP), who returned to the court to lead the team this season.
Today's game also marked Lock Haven's annual alumna event where they welcomed back a number of past greats. Head coach
Jennifer Smith looks forward to the event each year and this year was no different as she enjoyed having the group back in The Haven.
Henderson capped her career in style as she finished with 20 points in today's PSAC East contest. Dombrowksi had two points and five rebounds, while Livingston finished with nine points and six rebounds.
Bink Redman (York, Pa./William Penn) closed a strong true-freshman season with six points and 12 rebounds. Her 12 boards were a game-high.
Rayah Fink (Dover, Pa./Dover), another freshman, added 15 points.
