LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – For the second time in three days, the No. 18 Lock Haven University baseball team (15-6, 7-3 PSAC East) split a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division doubleheader with Kutztown University (10-10, 4-6 PSAC East). Today at home on Watkins Field, LHU won Game-1, 3-1, before falling in Game-2, 5-3.
Game 1: W, 3-1
In the bottom of the fourth with the game tied 1-1,
Keyshawn D'Orso's (Pittsburgh/Mercyhurst North East C.C.) RBI-single pushed LHU ahead, 2-1. In the sixth, he was at it again and doubled in a run to give Lock Haven the 3-1 lead.
He finished 2 for 3 with two RBIs.
Pitcher
Avery Eddy (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) was impressive on the way to the win. He struck out eight, walked one and allowed one run on five hits over six innings of action.
Breton LaRose (Ogdensburg, N.Y./Sacred Heart), the Bald Eagles' save-machine added another one to his career record.
Game 2: L, 5-3
Kutztown took game two, 5-3 after a three run fifth inning.
In game two, D'Orso homered and both
Cayden Stover (Beech Creek, Pa./Chesapeake College) and
Nick Stotler (Pittsburgh/Coker College) had a pair of hits. Stover drove in a run as well for LHU.

At press time, the Bald Eagles are still scheduled to host Indiana (Pa.) University on Tuesday, April 10 at 1/3 p.m.
