The Lock Haven University volleyball team is set to compete at this weekend's (Fri, Sept. 7 & Sat, Sept. 8) Marauder Clash Volleyball Tournament, hosted by Millersville University.
LHU (3-2) will play four matches over the two-day span, taking on Dominican, Shepherd, Adelphi and USciences.
In all, the Marauder Clash will host eight teams. Over the two days, the teams will play 16 matches on two courts.

Friday, Sept. 7

MATCH 1: Lock Haven vs. Dominican,
W, 3-0 (25-13, 25-14 & 25-16)
LHU opened the weekend with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-14 & 25-16) win over Dominican which pushed Lock Haven to 4-2 on the season.
Highlighting the victory was
Shaye Whiteman who registered her 1,000
th career dig. She needed just 15 to hit the mark, but finished with 33. Leading 8-7 in the second set, Whiteman hit the career milestone.
Veronica Morrison led LHU's offense with 11 kills while
Gabrielle Stick totaled 10 kills.
Kristen Nealon also had a strong game, tallying 36 assists in the match.
MATCH 2: Lock Haven vs. Shepherd, L
, 3-0
In their second match of the day, The Bald Eagles fell to the Rams of Shepherd University, 3-0, to finish the first day of the Marauder Clash with a record of 1-1 and moved Lock Haven to 4-3 on the year.
DAY TWO
MATCH 1: Lock Haven vs. Adelphi,
L, 3-0
The Bald Eagles started the second day of the Marauder Clash with a tough match against Adelphi University. The Panthers were able to knock off LHU, 3-0 as The Haven moved to 4-4 on the season.
MATCH 2: Lock Haven vs. USciences,
W, 3-0
Lock Haven finished the Marauder Clash strong with a bigtime 3-0 win over the University of the Sciences. With the win, LHU finished the Clash at 2-2 and move to 5-4 on the young season.
