The Lock Haven University football team is set for another home game, as the Bald Eagles will host No. 18 Kutztown University on Saturday, October 19 in Week 7 action. Kickoff in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division contest is set for 3 p.m. at Hubert Jack Stadium.
For Lock Haven it marks the fourth of six scheduled home games this season. The Bald Eagles are 1-2 at home, to date. Overall, LHU is 1-5 (0-3 PSAC East).
Kutztown is a perfect 6-0 (3-0 PSAC East) and ranked No. 18 in this week's American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA) Division II National Poll. Last week, the Golden Bears were ranked No. 21, but moved up to No. 18 this week after giving East Stroudsburg its first loss of the season last week, 35-13.

- Lock Haven will enter Saturday's game with Kutztown holding an overall record of 1-5.
- LHU is 0-3 in PSAC East action and looking for its first PSAC East win since last season when the Bald Eagles opened PSAC East play 1-0, thanks to a win over East Stroudsburg.
- This season, the Bald Eagles are 1-2 at home. LHU opened the 2019 season with a lopsided 57-13 win over Lincoln on Week 1.
- At 194.8 yards per game, the Bald Eagles feature the No. 1 rushing offense in the PSAC.
- Standout running back Chantz Swartz is averaging over 100 yards per game at a clip of 100.8, which ranks No. 2 in the entire PSAC. He's the No. 1 rusher in the PSAC East.
- Overall, Lock Haven's offense is ranked No. 5 in the PSAC.
- LHU's 11 rushing TDs are No. 7 in the PSAC.
- In the PSAC, Lock Haven ranks fourth in first-down conversions.

- Junior tight end Jalen Jackson (5GP/5GS, sat out Week 3), a 2018 All-American and a 2019 Preseason All-American, leads LHU with 72.4 receiving yards per game. He's ranked No. 11 in the PSAC in that category and sits as the No. 1 ranked tight end.
- Last week, in Week 6 action vs. Millersville, wide receiver Christan Drayton III had a breakout game. His carer-high 183 receiving yards marked the most by a Bald Eagle in a single game since the 2016 season. Quarterback Kyle Knight threw for 293 yards, which was just shy of his career-high. He was 18 of 28 passing.
- Defensive Back (FS) Kahari Whitfield and Linebacker Alex Welch lead LHU with 38 tackles apiece.
- DB Levi Engle has two of LHU's six interceptions.
- LHU's six interceptions on the season rank No. 8 of 16 in the league.
- LHU head coach Dave Taynor enters his fifth season at LHU and 12th overall as a collegiate head coach. At LHU he's 11-39 (9-21 PSAC East). Overall he's 48-79.

Next week (Saturday, October 26), the Bald Eagles will make the short trip east on Interstate-80 to take on local-rival Bloomsburg University. The Week 8 PSAC East clash is set for a 2 p.m. start. Lock Haven has won two of the last three meetings vs. Bloomsburg after the Bald Eagles secured back-to-back wins in 2016 and 2017.
