Women's Volleyball drops home contest to IUP
The LHU women's volleyball drops home contest on Friday evening at Thomas Fieldhouse.
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's volleyball team (6-13, 0-9 PSAC) dropped a home Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match against Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) (4-13, 3-5 PSAC) Friday evening on the campus of Lock Haven University.
Behind a raucous crowd, the LHU volleyball battled hard against IUP. The first two sets could have went either way as IUP won the first 25-21 and then the second 25-19. IUP would then go on to win the match by taking the third set.
Gloria Kroh (Clarion, Pa./Clarion Area) led the Bald Eagles tonight in kills with
Breanna McDonald (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) and
Cassidy Hoover (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle High) right behind her.
Kristen Nealon (Horsham, Pa./Archbishop Wood) led the way for LHU with 17 total assists and 12 digs.
Madison Goodwin (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle Antrim) also had 12 digs for the Bald Eagles.
Next Up:
It will be a quick turn-around for Lock Haven as they play tomorrow afternoon Saturday October 18 at 12 p.m. against Pitt-Johnstown for anther conference match-up.
