SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women's soccer team (2-7-2, 2-7-1 PSAC East) fell on the road to Shippensburg (6-7-0, 4-7-0 PSAC East) by a score of 3-0 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action.
Leading the way offensively for the Bald Eagles was
Haleigh Swam (West Minster, Md./ Winters Mill) who recored four shots, with three being on goal.
Not far behind was
Josie Swartz (Mifflintown, Pa./Junita) who finished with three shots, two on goal.
Lauren Tubay (Lancaster, Pa./ Manheim Township) added two shots of her own with one on goal.
Turning in solid midfield and defensive play were
Taylor Moritz (Harleysville, Pa./ Soudertown High) and
Erika Landis (Watsontown, Pa./ Warrior Run). Each recorded a shot for the Bald Eagles and did all they could to slow down the Shippensburg attack.
LHU goalkeeper
Karly Trillhaase (Eatontown, Ny./ Monmouth Regional) finished with 6 saves in the game.
