LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –The Lock Haven University men's basketball team (3-1, 0-1 PSAC) fell in nail-biting fashion, 73-70, to California University (Pa.) (3-2, 1-0 PSAC) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover matchup.
Christian Kelly filled the stat sheet recording another double-double. The senior paced the offense with 21 points and ten rebounds. Kelly sparked the late LHU comeback which fell just short in the final seconds.

The Haven came back from ten points behind in the final three minutes, but the Vulcans were able to hang on to a tight win.

Jesse McPherson (Philadelphia/Archbishop Carrol) and
Nasir Campbell (Philadelphia/ Simon Gratz) both finished in double figures for the Bald Eagles tallying 10 and 11, respectively. Campbell added nine rebounds and McPherson chipped in six.

LHU held a slight lead in both rebounds (41-38) and field goal percentage (43%-38%), but could not find a dramatic winner in the final minute thanks to lock-down Vulcan defense.
